20th Century History: Interwar Years Biography: Home

Getting Started

For this project you have to go above and beyond gathering basic Wikipedia information on your individual. Remember, if you are searching by name for your person in our library catalog and come up with nothing do an additional search on either what they are known for, the country they led, or their field of expertise. They will be found in at least one resource in the library.

Also, the best way to represent your individual is to find something written in their own words or produced by them. Try looking in the historical newspapers database below. There you will find articles written in newspapers during your person's lifetime that will include quotes and accounts of your person's actions.

Citing Ebooks

Remember: when you are citing ebooks they will/can count as one of your print sources. When you go to cite them it is easiest to cite them like a database, however. In Noodletools select database (GVRL) and then book. If you need help with citation just ask us in the library!
